2. Data We Collect & How We Use It
To provide our core offline billing services and facilitate subscription authentication, we collect specific information which is detailed below.
Firebase Authentication (Account Registration)
When you sign up or log into the Bill-Vill application, we capture your Registered Name, Registered Email Address, and Registered Phone Number. This information is processed securely through Firebase Authentication and is used exclusively for account creation, subscription license validation, and user support.
Google Drive API (User-Initiated Backups)
Bill-Vill offers an optional feature that allows you to backup and restore your billing database. When you choose to initiate a database backup, the App utilizes the Google Drive API to create a private backup archive in your personal Google Drive account.
We do not host or store your backup files on our servers. The App strictly accesses only the specific hidden app data folder created by Bill-Vill on your Google Drive; it does not read, access, or modify any other files, folders, or documents inside your personal Google Drive account.
100% Offline Local Database
All transactional billing information, menu items, sales records, customer profiles, and pricing catalogs are stored locally on your device's secure private storage. This data remains on your physical device at all times and is never uploaded to our servers.
3. Third-Party Data Selling Policy
We enforce a strict Zero Third-Party Sharing policy. We do not sell, rent, trade, license, or otherwise monetize your registered name, phone number, email address, or sales telemetry data to any third-party marketing companies, advertisers, or outside brokers.
4. Data Deletion and Retention
We retain your account authentication details only for as long as your account is active or needed to manage your software license. You retain complete ownership and control of your data:
- You can completely wipe all local sales data instantly from within the App Settings page.
- You can request a permanent deletion of your Firebase Authentication account record and subscription history by visiting our Data Deletion Request Page.
